Any Ideas?

Anyone have a good way to use Christmas cards after Christmas is past? They're all so pretty, but I don't quite know what to do with them. I thought I'd check with you to see if you know of some way to use them after the season's over.

Are you talking about cards or family pictures you receive? You could make a collage of the cards and frame it for a Christmas decoration. But then again, you pretty much get a collage each Christmas as people send more cards. Keep the pictures in an album.

Yes, I'm just talking about the cards. I keep the pictures. Thanks for your ideas!

I keep the pictures up for several months on the fridge. I have actually framed a couple of them (including yours) and use them as decorations.

No good ideas for cards. but... Let me the first to wish you a very Happy birthday on the 25th. Do something wild and crazy or calm and mellow, whatever suits your fancy. Me, I'm in to calm and mellow usually. It'll be on a Sunday so there ya go..

I displayed mine on some red branches that I got from outside. I hung them on ribbon and then put the branches in a tall vase so they can hang and everyone can enjoy them, even after Christmas. I still have mine up and I love it!

My mother in law uses hers as the tags for gifts the next Christmas.

My young women group showed me how to make little 2 piece boxes out of them. They used the boxes to put little candies and trinkets in for their friends when the next Christmas rolled around. If you're interested, I could get you a pattern.

My mom has been cutting the cards into rectangles along the fold(card picture on front, back of card on back) She then puts small magnets inbetween the two flaps and uses them for book marks or to give to her visiting teachees, etc as small gifts.
