I don't get it

Today when I went to seminary it was 18 degrees. One student came in with a light sweater and flipflops, one had a little fleece jack and birkenstocks, one came in basketball shorts. My reaction was, "What in the world???!!!"
Now I realize fashion is important when you're in high school, but this is ridiculous!
What were they thinking???

I think there must be some part of their brain that hasn't developed yet. Either that or they are simply crazy.

Isn't it weird. My brother wore shorts throughout the winter months in northern Utah and we all called him "crazy" on a daily basis.

I still wonder.

The answer to your last question is: they weren't thinking. :)

I had a girl come into the ER this winter on a day we got a ton of snow. She had sandals on and her feet were beet red. I had to get her a warm blanket to put on. I don't get it either Michelle..kids nowadays..hahah

They aren't thinking. Dane and Jens try out this fashion statement all the time, and are routinely sent back to their drawers to try again. We've got 3 feet of snow on the ground for pete's sake! I received an email the other day that said "you must live in Utah if you've ever worn shorts and a parka, at the same time"

Maybe they're all doing a science experiment to see how long it takes to either get frost bite, or hypothermia? Haha... yeah right! They're all just nuts!
